North Forest Office Space, a New York-based developer of medical and dental office buildings, will expand its presence in metro Denver with the addition of two new office buildings, one in Thornton and one in Firestone.

 

In Thornton, North Forest will build an 11-unit 13,702-square-foot building called the Washington Street Medical and Professional Center at 10303 Washington St.

The Firestone building is a nine-unit, 11,470-square-foot project called the Colorado Boulevard Medical and Professional Center, and is located at 8310 County Road 13.

 

Both buildings are expected to be ready for tenants in June.

 

The Firestone building is 50 percent leased by five unnamed tenants, with occupancy on schedule by June. There are no leases signed yet for the Thornton building.

 

"There continues to be an active market for office space in segments that fit our niche business," said Brett Steinbar, North Forest's Denver-area manager. "Medical and dental practices and small- to medium-sized professional businesses need office solutions that don't burden them with cumbersome lease processes and difficult expansion options."

The Thornton and Firestone locations are North Forest's fourth and fifth in the market. The company also owns buildings in Brighton, Commerce City and Westminster.
